• Introduction of standards
• Risk assessment and loss control systems
• Development of prevention techniques

The development and application of accident prevention techniques can result in solutions, to realize an improvement in the activities and relationship in the workplace.

Another important observation that can assist in the development of prevention techniques are the lessons learnt from the tragedies in other workplaces.
This reveal that there is a need to apply techniques that will identify to eliminate or reduce the hazards, assess and control the associated risk, and influence the behaviour and attitudes of persons, since accidents are caused by the shortcomings in people, process and management applied systems.
